Methodology

Theoretical Classes: Live and online theoretical classes will be held over 3 days, also allowing participants to access the material flexibly. 
Intensive Practical Classes: For 3 days per module, students will participate in hands-on practical classes that include: Live surgeries, providing direct observation of techniques in real time. “Semi-live” sessions, where procedures are demonstrated and analyzed in detail. Practice on live models and use of anatomical pieces for procedure simulation. Training in procedures performed on cadaveric anatomical pieces and use of realistic simulators, enabling in-depth and safe learning.

Duration of up to 16 months

Total workload of 360 hours, divided into 280 hours of theoretical and practical activities and 80 hours of supervised internship.

Student Profile

This course was developed for urologists or those currently in residency/postgraduate studies in urology. For physicians from Latin America who reside or work outside Brazil, participation will be allowed for residents or professionals with a complete education in Oncology Surgery or Plastic Surgery, provided that the regulations in their respective countries of origin are respected.
